Sandrine Holt is born Sandrine Ho on 19 November 1972, in London. She is the child of Chinese parents as well as French mothers. When she was just five the family relocated from the Chinese region to Canada. Prior to her acting career, she worked in Paris as a model on the catwalk. Her film debut was as Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). The role she played in the film was selected for nomination by the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar).
